Travel Fees for General Notary Services

The state of California sets the maximum notary fees. It means a Notary Public in California cannot charge you more than the state-set sum to get your will, affidavit, trust, car title, or any other legal document notarized. Mobile notaries can charge additional fees for their gas, time, travel, waiting, parking, document printing, or other notary-related expenses.

PRICES

Notary Price List

All notarization in the state of California is subject to the California Government Code Section 8211. The California Notary Code permits Notaries to levy less than $15 for each notarized signature and an additional travel fee. The travel fee is not regulated and must be disclosed separately. Additional costs such as filing, faxing, printing, recording or postage are due at time of service.

Payment is due at the time of service. Cash, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, and all major Credit Cards are accepted.

Exam Proctoring Fees

Mobile Exam Proctoring is when a student takes an exam, outside the home or educational institution— at a library, business, coffee shop, or any other location outside the residence or campus with an Internet connection. As a trusted notarial officer, I provide a safe and secure exam process, verify the identity of the student or candidate, and monitor the examination from beginning to end. In addition, I will notarize an affidavit of identity provided by your school or program if applicable.

Holiday & Late Arrival Fees

*There is an additional $40 convenience fee for notarizations during Federal Holidays.

*Please Note: There is a 15 minute grace period upon the Notary's arrival and the wait time fee is $15 per 15 minutes thereafter
